What Comes Next: A Professional Development Plan Workshop (1.5 PDUs)

Professional development never stops. Do you know what you want next in your career? Do you have professional goals? This workshop will help you determine where you are now and what’s next.
Using strategies based on the Kawa and Person-Environment-Occupation-Performance (PEOP) models, attendees will:
- Utilize self-reflection techniques and tools to identify their strengths, values, and skills.
- Understand how to utilize their strengths, values, and skills to their advantage within their careers and during times of transition.
- Identify at least three short-term goals.
- Identify at least three long-term goals.
- Understand the importance of accountability and mentorship in helping them achieve their goals.
Who Should Attend: While designed for students and recent graduates, this workshop offers valuable insights for practitioners at any stage. Topics include navigating fieldwork, job transitions, resume development, interview preparation, and establishing mentor relationships.
